Facilities

We have an on-site shop that sells drinks, snacks, and healthy bites. Along side a few quick snack meals and those last-minute forgotten items. (tea bags, toothbrush, bin bags etc). You can also find a selection of ice cream and a few bags of ice within the freezer. We will also be selling local produce when it is available.

We have 8 purpose built shower/toilet/sink cubicle units, that are perfect for a family to use together, which is great if you have small children. Also they are not shared, so you have full privacy. We also have 1 fully wheelchair accessible toilet/shower unit toilet.

We have a small recreational room which is open 24hrs, complete with dartboard, Fussball table, assorted board games, reading materials and DVDs. There is a communal fridge/freezer for all campers and fishermen to use. We just ask that you mark up each item with your name. A microwave and kettle have also been provided for communal use.

A woodchipped playground area can be found in the camping field, ready to tire out our younger guests!

A range of shelf and frozen bait is stocked in the shop, so don’t worry if you run short of supplies while you are fishing, or if you are unable to get to the tackle shop before you get to us. We stock Blake’s Baits and Pallatrax. We also stock hooks, rigs and Stonze weights from Pallatrax. We have a wide selection of official Catmaster tackles terminal tackle for catfishing including hooks, rigs, and baits.

Hire

We have fire pits with BBQ grills, lids and come with a fire starter pack for hire. We also stock logs, firelighters and kindling to get you up and running.

If you are on holiday and fancy a fish, but do not have your tackle with you? We have the Alder Pool fishing set for hire. This comes with rod, reel, net, mat, floats and hooks. Everything you need to get started. Or have you forgotten something for your fishing session? We can hire a range of tackle including, rods, reels, landing nets and unhooking mats.
