Glamping Pods in Somerset
Our three Glamping Pods: Quantock View, Lakeside View and Bayley’s Rest can be used as a base to explore the area and take in the beautiful sights of the Quantock Hills and surrounding beaches. If you fancy glamping with fishing, the Pods are ideally situated alongside two of our lakes (Alder Pool and Kingfisher Lake) or just to sit back enjoy the views and maybe have a BBQ whilst the sun goes down. There is a designated recreational/BBQ area outside of the pods. All pods come with a firepit and grill. We sell wood in our onsite honesty shop. All our pods have a seated area outside, a TV/DVD player, double bed with additional single folding beds. Small table and chairs, kettle, power, heating and lights.
You will need to supply your own bedding, sheets, towels and cooking equipment. Along with utensils.
Quantock View
Quantock View pod is a large family pod and can accommodate a family of 4. With a double bed and 2 folding chair beds it’s perfect for that getaway or just a spot of fishing, whilst relaxing by the lake. Quantock is 5 metres away from Swim 1 on Kingfisher and works well if you wish to fish, whilst also having the comfort of a bed at night. The pod comes with a table, chairs, TV/DVD player with mains electricity, heater, kettle and a parking space. You also have a firepit and bench right outside.
Bayleys Rest
One of our large family pods, it can accommodate a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) and is opposite Lakeside View Pod which work well together for groups. It contains a double bed and 2 single folding beds. The pod also contains a table, chairs, TV/DVD player with mains electricity, heater, kettle and parking space.
Lakeside View
Lakeside View is one of our larger pods and can accommodate a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children). It contains a double bed and 2 single folding beds. Also opposite Bayley’s Rest and the 2 pods together work well for a group booking. The pod contains a table and chairs, TV/DVD player with mains electricity, heater, kettle and parking space.
Fisherman Rest
Our Fisherman’s Rest which is situated on Kingfisher lake next to swim 3, is the perfect alternative to a bivvie. With power, lights and a TV, there is also a seated and designated BBQ area. It makes the perfect addition to any fishing holiday for 2 people.
You will need to supply camp beds, bedding and towels.
